I am finally starting to feel human and healthy again!

Unfortunately I have not been meeting my daily targets recently so now I have even more work to do!
Half term has been and gone. I have had a lovely time and go back to work not as rested as perhaps I had hoped but certainly benefiting from a change.
On Monday, I had a lot of work to catch up on but spent an enjoyable afternoon drinking coffee in a local coffee shop, catching up on paperwork and watching the world go by - a simple pleasure that is too rare.
Tuesday was the true start of the holidays. I went home and, as usual, was extremely well looked after. My sister and I decided to go for a lovely walk on Wednesday up Bredon Hill. It was incredibly misty to begin with but the sun started to come through. It was very muddy which made it hard work but it was very enjoyable and lovely to get out and explore Gloucestershire again.
Everyone is now getting involved with the walks. On Thursday, my Dad and I walked around Tewkesbury (and maybe stopped for a modest snack) but again, easily met the target.

Friday was a trickier day as I spent a lot of it doing odd jobs and travelling to London but it was worth it as I got to spend a few days with a very dear friend and her family along with another uni friend. Again, I was extremely well looked after: exceptional food, time to relax, great company...couldn't ask for anything more. We visited Whipsnade Zoo, somewhere new to me, and simply by having a good wander I met the target for the day.
Finally, today, (Sunday) I was able to call in to visit family on my way back from London. Once again, the food was brilliant (bit of a theme to my holiday) and I spent a lovely few hours catching up.
I can't wait to see everyone again and hope it can be very soon.
Thank you all for your support.
