Week 9 - 411km to go - OVER HALF WAY!

Curry, Top-Tips and Spring Strolls

It's all very real now! My travel insurance is in place and flight quotes have been provided. I just need to confirm them. This weekend I travelled to Birmingham for the first of my LRTT meets. It was brilliant to meet a group of like-minded people who have had experiences similar to my own. I picked up on some useful tips like "Take spare water bottles..." I'll explain if it works.

This week has been a busy one at work with observations and various other things to sort out which has resulted in a slightly lower than normal distance covered, although I have still made my targets. This coming week has a better weather forecast and is hopefully not as intense work-wise so fingers crossed I can get better distances.

As I mentioned, I spent the weekend preparing for my fellowship by sorting out essentials and beginning the first e-learn. This has certainly provided me with some thought provoking reading and I hope to update you on it once completed. I did all this whilst being at home in Tewkesbury. I managed to get two lovely strolls in around the town - both times being drawn to the Abbey. It is so photogenic. I hope you like the spring pictures!
